Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you use the Dayric website, waitlist, beta programs, desktop application, and other Dayric services that link to this policy (together, “Dayric”).
Additional notices, product disclosures, or agreements may apply to particular features, regions, or relationships. If a separate agreement governs Dayric’s processing of information, that agreement controls to the extent of any conflict with this policy.
When Dayric processes information on behalf of an organization that determines how the information is used, that organization’s privacy notice and its agreement with Dayric govern the processing. Requests concerning that information should be directed to the organization.
This policy does not govern products, websites, applications, or services operated by others, even when they connect to Dayric. Their practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Dayric is not responsible for those practices except as required by law.
In this policy, “personal information” has the meaning given by applicable law and may exclude aggregated or de-identified information. References to examples are illustrative and not exhaustive. Nothing in this policy creates rights beyond those provided by applicable law or an applicable written agreement.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Dayric, the features you enable, and the services you connect. We may combine information collected from different sources and derive information or inferences from it.
- Account and identity information. This may include your name, email address, profile photo, account identifiers, authentication information, organization, role, and account preferences.
- Profile and relationship information. This may include information you provide through the waitlist, beta access, surveys, events, applications, or other communications, such as your work, platforms, audience, goals, and interests.
- Content and work data. This may include prompts, conversations, voice input and transcripts, instructions, files, images, outputs, actions, corrections, approvals, feedback, and support correspondence.
- Connected-service information. When you enable a connection, Dayric may receive account details, content, metadata, permissions, and other information made available by that service or needed to perform the work you direct.
- Payment and transaction information. If Dayric offers paid services, we and our payment providers may collect billing details, transaction records, subscription status, and related information.
Information from use and other sources
We may collect product and website activity, including pages viewed, features used, searches, task and connection events, referral information, and interactions with our communications. We may also receive device and browser details, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, cookie and similar identifiers, crash information, and diagnostic data.
We may receive information from authentication providers, connected services, service providers, business partners, affiliates, other users, and publicly available sources. Where permitted by law, we may use automated and manual methods to review, classify, or analyze information, including content, for the purposes described in this policy.
Your responsibility for content and connections
You are responsible for the information you submit to Dayric and the services, accounts, and data you authorize Dayric to access. You should not provide personal information or confidential material unless you have the rights, permissions, and authority required to do so.
If you use Dayric for or through an organization, that organization may control the account, access or manage associated information, and make choices that affect your use. You remain responsible for complying with applicable law and third-party terms when directing Dayric to retrieve information or take an action.
How we use information
We may use personal information for the following purposes and for other purposes disclosed when information is collected, with your direction or consent, or as otherwise permitted by law.
- Provide, operate, administer, support, and personalize Dayric, including creating accounts, understanding direction, assembling context, generating outputs, and performing requested actions.
- Develop, evaluate, test, research, improve, and promote Dayric, our models, and related products, services, and technologies.
- Monitor and analyze performance and usage, diagnose failures, maintain continuity, and understand how people interact with Dayric.
- Communicate about accounts, access, service changes, security, support, events, research, and products or services that may be of interest, subject to applicable choices and law.
- Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, policy violations, security incidents, harmful activity, disputes, and other misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements and policies, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Connected services and actions
When you enable a connection or direct an action, you authorize Dayric to exchange information with the relevant service, use the permissions made available through the connection, retrieve context, and take actions on your behalf. Some connections may remain active until you disable them, and an action may have consequences outside Dayric that cannot be reversed.
You can disconnect a service to stop future access through that connection. Disconnecting does not reverse completed actions or require Dayric or the connected service to delete information retained for another lawful purpose. Connected services control their own systems and practices, and Dayric does not guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or conduct.
Memory and personalization
When memory or personalization is available or enabled, Dayric may preserve, infer, and use facts, preferences, corrections, decisions, relationships, and patterns from your work to personalize future interactions and improve continuity.
Controls offered in the product may allow you to review, change, or remove certain saved information. These controls operate prospectively and may not remove the same information from underlying content, connected services, derived or de-identified data, backups, support correspondence, or records retained for security, legal, or other legitimate business purposes.
How Dayric improves
We may use information, including content, inputs, outputs, feedback, usage signals, and performance data, to develop, evaluate, test, research, secure, and improve Dayric and the models and technologies that support it. Our use may depend on the product, account settings, notices presented to you, contractual commitments, and applicable law.
If Dayric offers a choice to limit a particular improvement use, that choice applies as described when it is presented and generally operates prospectively. We may continue to process information where reasonably necessary for safety, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, enforcing our policies, honoring feedback you submit, or another purpose permitted by law.
We may aggregate or de-identify information and use or disclose the resulting information for research, analytics, product development, and other lawful business purposes. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified information except to test or improve our de-identification methods or as permitted by law.
When information is disclosed
We may disclose personal information to the following recipients and in other circumstances disclosed to you, directed by you, or permitted by law. Certain disclosures for analytics, measurement, attribution, personalization, or marketing may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under some laws even when no money is exchanged. Where required, we provide the choices described by applicable law.
- Affiliates, service providers, contractors, and business partners that support infrastructure, authentication, databases, hosting, security, analytics, communications, customer support, payments, AI, speech, research, or other operations.
- Connected services and other third parties when you enable an integration, direct an action, publish or share content, or otherwise ask Dayric to interact with them.
- Other users, account administrators, or organizations when collaboration features, organization-managed accounts, or your instructions make information available to them.
- Professional advisers, researchers, auditors, insurers, authorities, and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or resolve disputes.
- Actual or prospective transaction parties, investors, lenders, advisers, and successors in connection with financing, due diligence, a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, transfer, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary or permitted for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide and improve Dayric, maintain continuity, comply with law, preserve security, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, complete transactions, enforce agreements, and exercise or defend legal claims.
Retention periods vary based on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the feature or account involved, technical requirements, our relationship with you, and applicable legal or contractual obligations. Information may remain for a period in backups, logs, archives, connected services, or systems managed by providers after it is removed from active use.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for as long as it remains useful for a lawful purpose. A request to delete information does not require deletion where retention is permitted or required by law, and it does not control copies held independently by third parties.
Your controls and rights
Dayric may provide controls to disconnect services, manage certain memories or preferences, and unsubscribe from non-essential communications. Using a control does not affect processing already completed and may not apply to processing performed for another lawful purpose.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, portability of, or deletion of certain personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; appeal a decision; or complain to a privacy regulator.
We may verify your identity, authority, and jurisdiction before acting on a request. To the extent permitted by law, we may limit or decline a request, extend the response period, or charge a reasonable fee when a request is excessive, repetitive, technically infeasible, would affect the rights of others, or falls within a legal exception. An authorized agent may be required to provide proof of authority.
Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you; with your consent; to comply with legal obligations; to protect vital interests; for tasks carried out in the public interest; or for our legitimate interests or those of others, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable rights.
Our legitimate interests may include operating, securing, supporting, researching, developing, improving, personalizing, and promoting Dayric; communicating with users; preventing misuse; protecting rights and safety; conducting corporate transactions; and enforcing our agreements and policies.
Security and international processing
We use technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system, storage method, or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, disclosed, altered, or lost. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, accounts, and connected services and for notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized use.
Dayric and the recipients described in this policy may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized legal mechanisms or safeguards for international transfers.
Children
Dayric is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to Dayric, contact us so we can take action as appropriate and required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as Dayric, our practices, and applicable law evolve. The revised policy is effective when posted unless a later date is stated. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law, and your continued use of Dayric will be subject to the policy then in effect to the extent permitted by law.
